New England’s naturalist author Henry David Thoreau has been a lifelong hero to Gary Hame, inspiring adventures to walk in Thoreau’s footsteps and inspiring Hamel to create artwork related to Thoreau.
Readings from Thoreau’s journals will be featured during this dinner, while you dine on dishes made from local ingredients and informed by Henry David’s writings.
Most of the artwork featured during this special evening will be original works by Hamel., and many pieces will be for sale. Additionally, Gary promises a few surprises - an evening not to be missed!

additional notes
arrival please arrive by 5:30, to find your table and glass wear. First course of nibbles will be served by 6:00.
parking will be in the lawn behind the Carriage House, follow the signs. The driveway parking is reserved for B&B guests. Please reach out with any questions.
dietary restrictions If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please note them on the check out form. We will do our best to accommodate you, however if we cannot meet your dietary needs we will contact you and give you a refund. We cannot accommodate vegan.
attire Dinner is in an old 1700s restored carriage house, it is shelter, but not weatherized. Check the weather and dress appropriately. Please wear what makes you comfortable.
children & pets gallery and farm-to-table events are intended for adults and are not suitable for children. For the enjoyment of all guests, please keep your pets at home. We do have two dogs on the premises who will be here to greet you.
cancellations We understand that life happens and plans change. Please be advised that all sales are final. You are welcome to find someone to take your place. We do appreciate communicating with us if you cannot attend.
